We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to join our team and help us build a large-scale IoT device management platform that allows clients to easily monitor, connect, and manage their devices, as well as integrate them with external systems.
This is an opportunity for a highly motivated candidate to join the team and have a significant impact on the product and create scalable, global, and resilient architecture to handle hundreds of millions of devices simultaneously.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement highly available and scalable infrastructure in a cloud environment using Kubernetes at CKA or CKAD level at least
- Develop and maintain our cloud infrastructure and deployment pipelines, ensuring scalability, availability, and performance of our services
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including software engineering, quality assurance, and product management, to deliver high-quality software releases
- Design, deploy and maintain Kubernetes clusters using best practices and standard methodologies
- Implement monitoring and logging solutions to ensure system health and availability
- Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools for provisioning, configuration, and deployment
- Maintain and improve our CI/CD pipelines, including continuous integration, delivery, and deployment
- Collaborate with developers to optimize the software development process and improve the quality of the software products
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for production issues
- Participate in on-call rotations to ensure 24/7 support of production systems
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Strong Unix/Linux administration skills, including shell scripting, process management, and networking
- Good understanding of network concepts, such as load balancing, DNS, and routing
- Programming skills in at least one of the following: Python, Java, Go
- Understanding of distributed application architecture concepts, such as microservices, service mesh, and containers
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work with a team and collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools, such as Terraform or CloudFormation
- Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies, such as Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
- Self-motivated and persistent
- English language proficiency at least B2 level
