We’re looking for someone with extensive marketing experience and comprehensive knowledge of the Internet of Things ecosystem to lead our marketing team who describe themselves as a “chimera” because one animal just couldn’t possibly handle all of AVSystem’s marketing: SEO, SEM, content, digital, social, graphic design, front-end, and everything in between, all done in-house.
Objectives of this role
- Collaborate with the business team to develop and implement marketing strategies for new and existing IoT products (internally and externally).
- Strengthen the AVSystem’s and its products’ presence in the Internet of Things ecosystem
- Oversee and grow our marketing position by consistently identifying revenue opportunities within the established client base, and by managing steady growth and securing new accounts.
- Provide market research, forecasts, competitive analyses, campaign results, and consumer trends to translate these insights into actionable items for the marketing team.
Your responsibilities
- Implementing the local go-to-market product marketing strategy, including definition and communication of product value propositions and product positioning in accordance with the global product marketing strategy.
- Achieving product marketing targets and budgets through regular oversight and definition and implementation of improvement plans as needed.
- Executing annual marketing plan, prepares business plans focused on business development for a defined market.
- Coordinating market analyses with Sales team members and defines appropriate forecasts and plans. Evaluates and shares customer research, market conditions and competitor data.
- Be responsible for go-to-market planning and execution for a range of products
- Lead on content dissemination planning, campaign development and planning for planning product launches.
Skills and qualifications
- Successful track record in creating marketing strategies and campaigns, especially within the Internet of Things ecosystem
- Experience in product definition, go-to-market planning, competitive benchmarking, business justification, new product launch, and customer management
- Excellent communication and decision-making skills
- Professional and proactive work ethic
- Ability to think and act both strategically and out of the box
- Fluent English
