Presales Engineer EMEA

Presales Engineer position at AVSystem offers an opportunity to work with cutting-edge telecommunications products. By working with us, you'll be able to play a key role in long-term projects as a technical advisor for one of our flagship products - a value-added service platform dedicated for WiFi. Linkyfi provides analyses of customer behaviour in shopping centres on the basis of individual movement patterns.

This is a great opportunity for experienced engineers to add the collaboration with global Telco industry leaders to their portfolio. We are a global-scale Polish brand dedicated to developing state-of-the-art solutions in the areas of IoT, WiFi location, and M2M. Our customers are: T-Mobile, Orange, Telefonica, Vodafone, and Viettel, to name just a few.

What would you do:

  • Comprehensive technical support for the sales process
  • Organization of product demonstrations or trial installations at customer sites at EMEA region
  • Conducting technical sales seminars as part of PoC and Demos for international customers of one of our leading products
  • Planning and modification of product configuration according to customer needs
  • Influence on the product development through regular research of customer requirements/customer contact
  • Diagnosis of network issues
  • Preparation of responses to tender documents
  • Providing information needed to develop product features
  • Consultations with customers and engineers to assess hardware needs and specify system requirements
  • Regular collaboration with the programming team
  • Preparation of implementation schedules

What do we expect:

  • Readiness for business trips (EMEA region)
  • Higher technical education (information technology, electronics, telecommunications, physics, automation or related fields)
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar position
  • Ability to work on Linux-based operating system
  • Knowledge of networks and tools such as: Wireshark, nslookup, ipconfig/ifconfig
  • Knowledge of the principles and methods of presentation, promotion and sales of products or services
  • Good understanding of principles and processes of providing services to customers and individuals. This includes the assessment of customer needs, compliance with service quality standards, customer satisfaction evaluation
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to build strong relationships with end-customers & partners
  • Fluent Polish and English

A big plus:

  • Knowledge of technologies such as IoT, LTE, DSL, VoIP, LwM2M
  • Knowledge of other foreign language: French, Spanish, German
