ALBtelecom, the largest telecommunications company in Albania, has decided to take the customer support and service delivery to the next level of quality and announced a tender for CPE management and auto-configuration solution. The tender was finally won by AVSystem, Poland.
Implementation of Next-Generation technologies and bringing enhanced services and advancements in the network is a keypoint for ALBtelecom, as their mission states. That is why they opted for AVSystem’s solution, the UMP, which is also known widely all over the world under the name of a Next-Generation ACS.
The software offered by AVSystem is not only extremely flexible, which makes deployment and troubleshooting services like IPTV or VoIP possible to be covered for ALBtelecom in the future, but also allows automatic remote management of diverse devices, no matter the manufacturer or technology type. However, what ALBtelecom values most is early problem detection and solving as well as increased Quality of Experience, which contributes significantly to enhancing customer support and service delivery.
To meet ALBtelecom’s requirements, Unified Device Management Platform had to guarantee easy and safe integration with the existing BSS/OSS systems (such as Resource Management, CRM, other subscriber data sources and trouble ticketing systems), an intuitive graphical user interface, expected load balancing, availability, scalability and security.
The whole implementation involved 75 000 devices of 6 different device vendors (and is expected to reach the number of 100,000 devices in the near future).
