AVSystem in cooperation with MachNation will be hosting a webinar titled "LwM2M and MQTT: Insights and Adoption Ease." This follows the recent publication of a unique technical study of which AVSystem was a co-sponsor, "Comparing the efficiency of LwM2M and MQTT: hands-on test results of two technology clients on a typical IoT device," conducted by MachNation – the only company exclusively dedicated to benchmarking IoT solutions.
The webinar will take place on May 28, 2020, at 4 p.m. CEST (UTC+02:00). Marcin Nagy, Product Director for IoT, will be presenting for AVSystem, and for MachNation – Samuel Hale, Analyst and IoT Implementation Specialist.
Enterprises have been signaling the need for accurate data on the performance of various protocols, which play a crucial role in IoT deployments, to make informed decisions about their projects. AVSystem and MachNation believe it is important to both discuss the data and the performance, but also to draw attention to different project needs for which one protocol may be better than the other.
The webinar will therefore discuss the results of the tests, in particular the similarities and differences between the two protocols frequently chosen for IoT deployments. We will also consider the importance of deciding on the right technology for specific IoT deployments, including how it can affect time to market, and we will be sharing information on tools and tips that can speed up this process.
Choosing the right protocol for management and monitoring of IoT solutions is one of the main aspects that enterprises need to consider at the very start of product development.
