AVSystem Extends TR-069 Auto Configuration Server Try & Buy Program

Products & Solutions 19 September 2012

Unified Device Management Platform from AVSystem with built-in TR-069 Auto Configuration Server may still be tested on request by interested Telecommunication Service Providers. The company decided to extend the Try & Buy Program indefinitely.

September 19, 2012 – AVSystem, the European expert in device management and provisioning with a flexible portfolio of TR-069 software solutions, declared to extend its TR-069 Auto Configuration Server (ACS) Try & Buy Program. In effect, Telecommunication Service Providers may still benefit from the possibility of testing AVSystem’s Unified Device Management Platform (UMP) for the means of device provisioning, management and monitoring – with or without TR-069 support – completely free of charge. The trial period, specified in the corresponding agreement, is usually 30 days. The Try & Buy Program extension is indefinite.

Unified Device Management Platform is a unique example of innovative telecom provisioning software, a highly scalable and the most flexible device management platform on the market. It is absolutely vendor-agnostic and protocol-independent: UMP gives the Service Provider all the benefits of a TR-069 ACS along with exceptional tools to handle any other protocol (e.g. Telnet, SNMP, OMA-DM). It can be used for provisioning (including zero-touch provisioning), diagnostics, monitoring and remote configuration of all kinds of devices used in contemporary telecommunication: IP Phones, mobile devices, modems, routers, gateways, IPTV set-top boxes, smart home devices and many more.

AVSystem’s Try & Buy Program is the only offer of this kind. It allows telecommunication companies to learn more about the possibilities of managing devices using a TR-069 Auto Configuration Server. Moreover, Telcos may experience advanced features of Unified Device Management Platform, including provisioning of non-TR069 devices. Thus – by experimenting on their own devices with a dedicated trial platform – potential customers can make a sensible, educated choice about the rest of the project. Participation in the Try & Buy Program is not only completely free of charge, but also may be discontinued at will by the participant. Other rules are negotiated individually and specified in the relevant agreement.

Telecommunication Companies willing to participate in AVSystem’s Try & Buy Program are requested to use this contact form.
