Tokheim, one of the world’s largest suppliers of fuel retailing solutions, chose AVSystem’s Unified Device Management Platform for management and maintenance of their network infrastructure.
Multiple sites, multiple providers of the underlying data connectivity, a need to comply with a multitude of diverse requirements, changing and complex network environment – all that makes both management and maintenance of Tokheim’s network infrastructure a real challenge.
Tokheim, directly servicing more than 40,000 stations in 120 countries, requires high level of both connectivity and security to conduct its operations smoothly. Implementation of Unified Device Management Platform into existing business processes will significantly decrease workload related to the network maintenance and provide better monitoring of Tokheim’s business routers, which, in turn, will increase stability of the whole infrastructure. Moreover, optimization of those processes will translate into other measurable benefits such as saving time for network engineers as well as increasing overall efficiency of the whole company.
“We are very happy that Tokheim’s engineers decided to choose our solution. This decision only proves that even among product & service providers for enterprises, there is a strong demand for UMP, a best-in-class, carrier-grade system, primarily associated with telecom industry”, said Robert Ryłko, VP Business Development at AVSystem. “I believe that our cooperation with Tokheim will initiate AVSystem’s long-lasting presence in this enterprise market”, he added.
