Grandstream’s GXP Series of Enterprise HD Phones Certified on AVSystem’s Management Platform

Interoperability allows Enterprises and Service Providers to centrally provision and manage Grandstream’s GXP HD Phones using AVSystems’s TR-069 Auto-Configuration Server (ACS).

Brookline, MA, USA and Krakow, Poland (March 13, 2012)Grandstream Networks, the leading manufacturer of IP voice/video telephony and video surveillance solutions, and AVSystem, the leading technology vendor for device & service management platforms for Telecommunication Service Providers, today jointly announce the interoperability and certification of Grandstream’s Linux-based GXP Series of Enterprise IP Phones with AVSystems’s TR-069 ACS server – Unified Device Management Platform. Enterprise IT administrators and service providers worldwide can now use AVSystem’s Unified Device Management Platform to centrally provision and easily manage Grandsteam’s entire family of enterprise HD IP phones in volume deployment.

AVSystem’s Unified Device Management Platform acts as a single point in a network that allows for easy and universal reconfiguring, managing, provisioning, and monitoring of all devices on a network, including proactive alerting and advanced reporting. The companies’ TR-069 based device management software includes an ACS (Auto-Configuration Server) engine which incorporates flexible and easy-to-use tools to fully control any growing and complicated IP phone network. Today this network contains not only the phones themselves but also devices like ADSL / VDSL routers, internet and VPN gateways or monitoring devices. The Unified Device Management Platform lowers operational and support costs by streamlining all device management options including both endpoints and network equipment, meanwhile providing proactive monitoring of network behavior for early problem detection and an improved user experience.

Grandstream’s GXP 110x, 14xx, 21xx Series Linux based Enterprise IP Phone offers rich telephony features, including HD audio, multi-line indicators, integrated PoE, superior hands-free speakerphone and broad third-party interoperability.
