NextGenTel Deploys AVSystem Unified Device Management System for CPE Zero-Touch Provisioning, Management and Proactive Monitoring

AVSystem announced today that the 2nd largest telecommunications company in Norway, NextGenTel, decided to deploy AVSystem flagship solution – Unified Device Management Platform.

After long and thorough evaluation carried out by highly qualified technicians, NextGenTel decided to select AVSystem solution among available options for CPE zero-touch provisioning, management and proactive monitoring, which only proved the reliability and efficiency of the chosen product.

“The openness and flexibility of the platform, which must be able to support not only popular residential xDSL CPE but also complex business routers such as OneAccess, Cisco or Alcatel-Lucent, were our most important objectives in the selection process. During the evaluation, we realized that the technology delivered by AVSystem provides a unique approach in terms of flexibility enabling almost all critical components of the AVSystem platform to be easily modified and customized by our own staff. Such an approach and features set is hard to be found in products offered by other vendors.” says Jorn Hodne, Chief Technology Officer at NextGenTel.

AVSystem UMP platform has overcome in the selection process systems presented by three other competitors.

The Platform delivered for NextGenTel will support 400,000 existing customers, with future expansion capabilities up to 1M.
