AVSystem has delivered its Unified Device Management Platform (UMP) to a widely-known provider of mobile telecommunication services in the Czech Republic.
Vodafone’s main goal was to find and implement a new provisioning tool that would cover easy automatic group provisioning for IP Phones (both TR-069 and non-TR-069), ADSL and LTE modems and ensure a possibility to add new devices in the future. Among other factors that were taken into consideration, one may find an intuitive user-friendly web interface, the use of powerful XML workflows as well as robust monitoring plugins enabling creation of diverse user-defined reports.
With the help came AVSystem’s Unified Device Management Platform, which not only offered all those features, but also presented unexpected flexibility of the whole system. Zero-touch service activation of data & VoIP services for OneNetExpress (a service combining the features of a desk phone with the flexibility and freedom of a mobile) customers as well as smooth integration of the platform with external OSS/BSS systems via Web Services, SNMP, Radius and HTTPS finally convinced Vodafone’s engineers to trust AVSystem’s solution.
Vodafone’s philosophy is to make their customers’ life easier, and to do it, Vodafone needed software that would be able to meet all the demands of the contemporary world. That is why they chose AVSystem’s Unified Device Management Platform, an ultra-flexible solution that provides easy and cost-effective network management, superior quality of experience as well as constant development of the whole platform.
