Protecting Hotel Staff
With Panic Buttons
Make hotels safe for both guests and staff
How it works
Hotel panic buttons are small objects carried by the hotel staff. When pushed, they enable instant response in case of emergencies by immediately locating an employee who is calling for help. The signal transmitted by Access Points through Bluetooth Low Energy technology is analyzed to calculate the position of the pressed hotel panic button.

Features
Indoor asset tracking
You can track the location of each hotel panic button in real-time through the use of Bluetooth Low Energy and Linkyfi Location Engine which utilizes Access Points deployed around the entire hotel.
Defining the environment
You can define the whole plan of the building (all venues, floors, access points location) and draw more detailed area plans (that include rooms, patio etc.) using only the customer’s UI.
Visualization
You can add an interactive hotel floor plan to the Coiote IoT Data Orchestration platform and display the location of hotel panic buttons in real-time.
Flexibility
The components of this solution are flexible enough to allow for customization that meets the requirements of various different use cases (other than hotel safety buttons).
- You can easily set parameters separately for each building by choosing:
- event triggering the notification,
- user (from all available users in the system)
- channel (sms or e-mail).
