    His primary areas of interest and expertise include information security, distributed systems and real-time communication systems. Before joining AVSystem, he was the VP of Engineering in callstats.io, the pioneering WebRTC diagnostics and analytics company, which he co-founded. In parallel to his industrial life, he is active in the academic world. For his research in the area of security and usability in opportunistic networks, he was awarded the Doctor of Science degree from the Aalto University, Finland. During his university time, he spent a year as a research intern in the Nokia Research Center. Marcin is an author of 2 US patents.

    His primary areas of technological expertise are systems integration and testing, performance metrics and optimization and vendor analysis. Sam runs MachNation’s IoT Test Environment for IoT platforms and applications where his analyses have been highly demanded by clients. Prior to joining MachNation, Sam worked with both commercial and nonprofit partners formulating cogent systems architectures, leveraging analytic solutions to inform and execute corporate strategy and implementing middleware solutions to help aid in the migration of data and services from legacy systems to cloud platforms. Sam unites his two passions, data analytics and technology, in producing industry-leading research and analyses for MachNation.
